Tagged - 6 Quirky Things About Me

I’ve been tagged by Rebecca at Space Between My Peers. This is what I’m supposed to do:

* Link the person who tagged you.
* Mention the rules in your blog.
* Tell about six unspectacular quirks of yours.
* Tag a new set of six following bloggers by linking them:

* Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged.

Six unspectacular quirks I have lurking just beyond my computer monitor:

1.) I like symmetry. Don't pile things up one side, make it balance.
2.) My clothes are sorted by color and style. I can be dressed from head to toe with make-up & jewelry in about 7 minutes - and I like it that way.
3.) I get stage freight at the end of a performance, especially if things have gone well up until the last few details of the song or presentation. Then it's like, "OH NO! Lord, please don't let me blow it now..." and my knees start knocking.
4.) If I have chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, I have to have something non-chocolate to go with it. It could be milk or vanilla ice cream, but I need something to break up the chocolate.
5.) A couple years ago Rich offered to give me $200, to frivolously spend on anything I wanted, if I would get rid of my old Victoria magazines. After thinking about it for two weeks, I decided to keep the magazines.
6.) Although party guests think I come up with new and exciting menus each time I entertain, I don't. I have several set menus I follow, plugging and playing with different flavors. shhh Don't tell.

Quirky enough for you?

I *love* your menus!! That's not quirky, it's just smart!
And I envy that you have your wardrobe so fabulously organized. I'm aiming for that....someday!
I'll do the meme later this week. :)

lol

I like symmetry too. When I was a kid and bored in the car I would play with the words on the signs, checking to see if there were even numbers of letters and how I could make them balance. :)

I am a chocolate lover and I totally understand your number 4. Sometimes things are too much chocolate, even for me. LOL!

I totally get the symmetrical thing. I did a meme, it's not this one exactly-- but I definitely shared some of my quirks throughout it.
